Meet Richard MA, MSW, CSW
After completing his degree, a bachelor’s of arts in Anthropology at the University of Kentucky, Richard went on to secure a master’s of arts in Anthropology and Education from Columbia University and a master’s of social work from the University of Southern California. His work experience is diverse, ranging from nonprofit consulting to cut flower farming, and relies on said experience and educational training to help clients achieve their mental health goals. Through working with Richard, clients can expect a nonjudgmental, caring, and cerebral therapeutic approach — one that leans on EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Critical Therapy modalities. Richard is a news and information enthusiast, with a wide range of interests that include politics, fashion, home renovation, and sports. He’s often found listening to a podcast while simultaneously reading updates, essays and articles. Richard is delighted by time spent alongside his darling wife, and loves roughhousing with his young son.
